What 3 Word:change.tower.roses      link:///change.tower.roses Parent/Carer Supervision & Responsibility

Please read carefully before booking.

Our Forest Family and other parent/carer-attended Forest School sessions are designed as shared experiences for children and their accompanying adults.

Where you attend a session with your child, your child remains your responsibility and must be supervised by you at all times throughout the session. Our Forest School Leaders are there to facilitate activities, lead the session, provide guidance and support, and help create a safe and engaging environment. They cannot provide individual or continuous supervision of every child attending.

You are therefore responsible for:

  • Supervising your child throughout the session.

  • Ensuring your child follows safety guidance and the instructions given by Forest School Leaders.

  • Staying within sight and reach of your child where appropriate, particularly around fire, water, tools, uneven ground and other natural hazards.

  • Making decisions about your child’s participation in activities based on their individual needs and abilities.

Our team will always do everything reasonably possible to support you and your child. We will provide safety guidance, explain potential hazards, offer appropriate support during activities and administer first aid where required.

However, our support does not replace your responsibility as your child’s parent/carer.

By proceeding with this booking, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree that your child remains your responsibility and must be supervised by you throughout any parent/carer-attended Forest School session.
