We have on-site parking, a portable toilet, shelters and several tarpaulins for cover if it’s raining.
The parties last approximately 1.5 hours and are from £100 for up to 12 children.
This includes 3 themed activities or even games and toasting marshmallows round an open fire to finish as we sing that special song to our birthday champ! Accompanied with hot chocolate or cold drink weather dependent. We can provide themed party bags (from £4 per head)
The recommended party group size is 12 and the recommended maximum group size is usually 20 depending on age of the children, activities/theme chosen and how many adults are attending!
Our party slots are between either 10.00am – 12.00pm or 1.00pm – 3.00pm.
Party Packages & Pricing:
- £150 for 1.5 hours for 12 children
- £170 for 2 hours for 12 children
- £160 for 1.5 hours for 15 children
- £190 for 2 hours for 15 children
- £200 for 1.5 hours for 20 children
- £235 for 2 hours for 20 children
All packages include the chosen theme, activities, marshmallow toasting, and drinks. If you’d like to bring extra food or snacks, you are more than welcome!
Time Slots:
Parties are available for 1.5 to 2 hours, with the following time slots:
- 10:00am-11:30am/12.00pm
- 12:30pm-2:00pm/2.30pm
- 2:30pm-4:00pm/4.30pm – please ask if you wish for this timeslot
Frequently Asked Questions
What Happens if It Rains?
Don’t worry, we continue rain or shine! However, in the case of thunderstorms or high winds (over 30mph), we will reschedule for safety reasons.
Can I being food?
Yes you can bring food, we supply toasting marshmallows and a drink, however if you would like to bring other food you can do. The children are often engrossed in being wild in the woods and may not want an awful lots therefore we always advise to not do a big buffet style as you maybe wasting your money.
Can I bring a cake?
Yes of course! when we are toasting marshmallows and having drinks at the end we often sign happy birthday around the campfire.
Are there toilets?
No, we don’t have permeant toilets in the woods we recommend getting the children to go to the loo before hand. The odd wild wee is allowed and we have a bucket toilet in case of desperation. In the school holidays when our forest camp is running we do have a builders toilet.
How do I direct others to the venue?
Share the below with your attendees the google pin should take them straight the gate and the what three words will also do the same. If people can not use these. If people are heading up Smithills Dean Road to Colliers Row Road which is the top road they will pass Smithills Hall and Farm turning on their right. DO NOT TURN UP THERE KEEP GOING. You will pass the bus turn around and St Peters Primary on your left as their field ends our woodland begins. Parking is on the roadside just passed the speed limit sign on the left as the gate is at the top end of the woods.
