Who are our
sessions for?

Our Home Ed Frontiers sessions are available for All children from 4 years old.

No two children are alike and home education comes in lots of shapes and sizes. We like to be flexible and fit in with you and this enables us to meet the needs and interests of children of different ages and stages. Our experienced staff can plan activities to fit in with a theme or a subject, offering elements of structure to our sessions. However, there are also always lots of opportunities for free play, for physical activity, for rest and relaxation in nature and for all sorts of fun and games! This freedom makes developing friendship possible and supportive connections to be made with other families who have also chosen this pathway. Well-being is a top priority, and we hope everyone will leave our sessions with a smile.

Encourage Exploration?

What happens at our Frontier Home Ed Sessions?

Each session is designed to support every child’s individual needs whilst building confidence and a love for nature.

Our Home Ed Wild Passport sessions are designed for children aged 5 and up, with a flexible approach to meet the diverse needs and interests of home-educating families.

Every child is unique, and so are the ways they learn — that’s why our sessions are child-led, allowing children to explore, play, and engage with nature at their own pace.

We use the Wild Passport curriculum as a flexible framework to shape our sessions.

This outdoor learning programme covers key progressive skills in woodcraft, nature awareness, fire and cooking, shelter building, and tool use, designed to build confidence, resilience, and independence through hands-on experiences in the wild.

While we may use Wild Passport to loosely guide session structure and progression, the children’s curiosity and current interests are what truly shape each day.

There’s space for both structured learning and free exploration, ensuring plenty of opportunities for physical activity, creativity, rest, and connection with nature — and with each other. Friendships grow, well-being is nurtured, and everyone is encouraged to leave with muddy hands and happy hearts.
