WILD Passport 5-13 Years

🌳 Join Us for WILD Passport Sessions at Forest Frontiers CIC!

Are you ready for an adventure in the great outdoors? Look no further than our WILD Passport sessions at Forest Frontiers CIC, nestled in the enchanting Smithills. Formerly known as Home Ed Education, these sessions are now open to all children aged 6-13 years, fostering inclusivity and a love for nature.

📅 When: Thursdays, 10am – 12.30pm

At Forest Frontiers CIC, we believe in the power of outdoor exploration to ignite curiosity and foster growth in children of all backgrounds.

These sessions have been partly subsidised with the Lottery Community Fund. This year we are blending our Wild Passport and Wild Well Being to help support all children between 6-13years. In addition we have made the sessions slightly longer.

Whether your child is home-schooled or attending alternative provision, our sessions cater to various educational needs. We’re dedicated to creating an inclusive environment where every child can thrive and develop essential skills, confidence, and resilience through hands-on experiences in nature.

🌲 Explore, Learn, and Grow with Our Wild Passport Sessions! 🌲

Our Wild Passport Sessions, designed for children aged 5-13, offer a unique blend of outdoor adventure, skill-building, and mindfulness in the great outdoors. Each week, we delve into different themes that connect children with nature while fostering their independence, creativity, and resilience.

In partnership with Mini Minds Matter, we’re committed to nurturing the mental and emotional well-being of every child. Our sessions are thoughtfully crafted to include mindful moments—whether it’s a quiet reflection in the forest, breathing exercises by the stream, or creating nature art—helping children develop emotional awareness and a sense of calm in the natural world.

Each session also incorporates elements of the Wild Passport curriculum, a progressive outdoor education program that helps children develop key skills across five core areas: Shelter, Fire, Food, Tools, and Nature. With Wild Passport, your child will gain hands-on experience in everything from building shelters and lighting fires to foraging for wild foods and identifying local wildlife.

Join us for an unforgettable adventure where learning meets the wild, and every moment is an opportunity for growth. 🌟
