Session Dates 

Woodland Sensory Experience for Babies and Parents (6-15 months)

Step into the wonders of nature with our Woodland Sensory Experience, specially designed for babies aged 6-15 months and their parents. Over six weeks, we’ll explore the senses in an enchanting woodland setting, where your little one can connect with nature and develop early speech and language skills through sensory play.

Each week, we’ll gather around a cosy campfire, immersing ourselves in the sights, sounds, and textures of the forest. Your baby will enjoy mini crafts and sensory activities tailored to stimulate their growing minds.

We will cover activities that support bringing your babies senses to life in the woods such as Look, Listen, Feel, Taste, Smell, and Balance will guide our exploration, providing a holistic sensory experience that nurtures curiosity and cognitive development.

We also understand the importance of mental well-being for parents. That’s why each session includes a Mini Minds Matter segment, along with a well-being activity, giving you the chance to relax, recharge, and connect with other parents in a serene outdoor environment. Did you know that spending just 45 minutes in nature can significantly boost well-being and reduce stress?

This session is suitable for early walkers to pre-school-age children!

All our sessions are fully Covid 19 risk assessed and we have added measures to ensure you are all protected well.

What do I need to bring?

Not an awful lot!
Come in suitable outdoor clothing for our ever-changing weather.
A reusable cup for drinks by the campfire.
And more importantly yourselves!
Anything you may need for a good morning out! As always you can expect to get dirty!
