Forest Birthday Parties with Forest Frontiers

Looking for a birthday party that’s a little bit wild, wonderfully creative, and full of outdoor adventure? Our Forest School birthday parties offer children aged 3–11 the chance to celebrate their special day immersed in nature — exploring, creating, playing, and making unforgettable memories.
Set in beautiful woodland and green spaces, our parties are relaxed, playful, and child-led, with plenty of time for imagination, adventure, and fun.

Campfire Moments
We love finishing parties gathered around the campfire. Children can toast marshmallows, enjoy a warm drink, and (if you wish) we’ll sing Happy Birthday together to celebrate your child’s special day.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I being food?
Yes you can bring food, we supply toasting marshmallows and a drink, however if you would like to bring other food you can do. The children are often engrossed in being wild in the woods and may not want an awful lots therefore we always advise to not do a big buffet style as you maybe wasting your money.
Can I bring a cake?
Yes of course! when we are toasting marshmallows and having drinks at the end we often sign happy birthday around the campfire.
Are there toilets?
No, we don’t have permeant toilets in the woods we recommend getting the children to go to the loo before hand. The odd wild wee is allowed and we have a bucket toilet in case of desperation. In the school holidays when our forest camp is running we do have a builders toilet.
Do you offer mascots or character entertainers?
Forest Frontiers does not provide mascots or character performers as part of our party packages. However, families are very welcome to include a character appearance as an optional extra.
We work with and recommend Regally Royal Parties, a trusted and professional company who offer a range of high-quality characters. Character bookings can be arranged through us for your convenience, and are available at an additional cost, depending on the character and duration chosen.
What If It Rains?
We run rain or shine — woodland play is even better in wellies!
In the event of high winds (over 30mph) or thunderstorms, parties will be rescheduled for safety.
Food, Cake & Toilets
• You’re welcome to bring your own cake and additional snacks
• Children are often very busy playing, so we recommend keeping food simple
• There are no permanent toilets on site — please ask children to go beforehand
• A discreet wild wee area and emergency bucket toilet are available
• During school holidays at Smithills, a builders’ toilet is on site

How do I direct others to the venue?

The google maps pin should take attendees to the gate and the what three words will also do the same. If people can not use these. If people are heading up Smithills Dean Road to Colliers Row Road which is the top road they will pass Smithills Hall and Farm turning on their right. DO NOT TURN UP THERE KEEP GOING. You will pass the bus turn around and St Peters Primary on your left as their field ends our woodland begins. Parking is on the roadside just passed the speed limit sign on the left as the gate is at the top end of the woods.
How to Book
• A £25 non-refundable deposit secures your party date
• The remaining balance is invoiced after booking
• Simply choose your date and time slot, complete checkout, pay the deposit — and you’re booked!

We have on-site parking or road side parking, a portable toilet can be brought if required, shelters and several tarpaulins for cover if it’s raining.
The parties last approximately 1.5 hours and are from £150 for up to 12 children.
This includes 3 themed activities or even games and toasting marshmallows round an open fire to finish as we sing that special song to our birthday champ! Accompanied with hot chocolate or cold drink weather dependent. )
The recommended party group size is 12 and the recommended maximum group size is usually 20 depending on age of the children, activities/theme chosen and how many adults are attending!
Our party slots are between either 10.00am – 12.00pm or 1.00pm – 3.00pm.
